We have successfully completed our first seed financing round and raised a total of EUR 7150,000 in growth capital for DEFENDERBOX.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank the participating business angels and NRW.BANK for their confidence in our team, our product and our vision.
What we intend to do with the capital
The funding will enable us to make targeted investments in three key areas in the coming period:
- Further development of our plug-and-play security solution
- Automation and scaling of our partner sales
- More visibility in the small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) market
Our goal remains clear: we want to make it as easy as possible for SMEs to protect their IT infrastructure against security vulnerabilities - without specialist technical knowledge or expensive systems.
Why we do what we do
Many medium-sized companies today face the challenge of keeping their IT secure - often without their own IT department or the necessary budget for classic security solutions. This is exactly where we come in with the DEFENDERBOX:
Our solution automatically identifies potential security gaps in the network and provides early warning before real risks arise. Simple. Automatically. Understandable.
We believe that IT security should not be a luxury - but a basic requirement.
Sales also via partners - because trust is built locally
We deliberately distribute our products via IT partners who integrate and support the DEFENDERBOX in existing customer environments. This model has two advantages:
- Our customers have a competent contact person on site
- Our partners can expand their services with a strong security solution
We intend to systematically expand this partner network in the coming months - in Germany and, in the long term, internationally.

With the tailwind of this financing, we are consistently pursuing our growth strategy - in terms of technology, sales and brand awareness. The next few months will be decisive, and we look forward to everyone joining us on this journey.
